You turn to examine the hole in the floor of the library,
noting its very rough, rocky construction, as if it were
blasted out of the red bedrock under the floor. The
Moolog librarian jabs you once in the back, encouraging
you onward. Deciding to take the advice of the genteel,
elderly librarian, you gather yourself and confidently
step into the hole in the ground. The fall is faster than
with the gravity that you are used to, however, and your
trailing leg knocks against the lip of the hole, sending
you reeling head over heels to a dubious fate, where ever
the long drop takes you. Flopping forward affords a view
of the way down and a sick stomache. You are rushing
towards utter darkness in a very roughly-constructed
tunnel. The wind whips around your body, causing you to
fear touching the sides of the
tunnel. As you spin back around the first time, the
outline of the tiny man, who tricked you into taking this
mad leap of faith, waves at you with his cane. After
about fifteen seconds, you realize you are screaming and
decide to stop doing that while
waiting for the end.
